Rising American opera composer Evan L. Snyder is swiftly carving a name for himself as an adept writer for the classical voice, a firm advocate for its place in new music, and an avid storyteller across a number of genres.

His songs and song cycles have been commissioned and performed by such respected performers as Tamara Wilson, Warren Jones, Eric Ferring, John Riesen, and Richard Fracker. His operas and other large scale works have been commissioned and produced by numerous organizations, including Opera Las Vegas, Opera MODO, Fort Worth Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, the Janiec Opera Company, and The Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Settings of four Cajun French poems, commissioned by Mary Grace Ellerbee as part of an effort to preserve the language and culture of french-speaking Louisiana. The original recording of the final movement, a setting of Jean Arceneaux's Ouragan III , has been serving that goal well - finding incredible streaming success, with over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone.

Necromancy meets midwestern cooking, as two college students, Kevin and Anna, go to too great of lengths in pursuit of finding the missing recipe for Kevin's recently-deceased Grandmother's casserole in this 25' minute chamber opera romp.
